the largest trade takes place in Lierganes, being a very well preserved village and tourist destination. You could sponsor more perhaps, and possibly add a bike tool shop or points to repair your bike

I didn’t notice any bike racks either in Lierganes or along the way. However, there were various bars and points where to stop to eat, sometimes even to rest.

The route connects some small villages, such as Pamanes, Penagos, Arenal and LIerganes. is present. There is a bus line, but connections are very poor. Apart from the last piece from Pamanes to Lerganes, the route is definitely suitable for people of all ages, to go from one village to another. Certainly a railway line would be more convenient for longer journeys

I found the route safe in its entirety, especially from Saron (leaving out about 500 meters on the state road) to Pamanes. The route was on secondary roads or on a dedicated lane next to the cars. From Pamanes to Lierganes we flanked the cars, and safety was very low, especially because the speed of the vehicles was high. From Lierganes to the church we have always been on the state road, but the cars went much slower because it was a built-up area. The path along the river is in the middle of the forest and very quiet.

The route seemed quite safe, not very busy (even if there was no delimited cycle path). It was a country road, so there were no crossings, many parts were on dirt and on concrete under the blazing sun. It is not suitable for a group of kids or families with children (at least, if they have a car maybe they can only do the parts that are not too tiring).

The only connection from Saron is Saron-Esles, but otherwise, there is no transportation. Locals travel by car, tractor or even horse-drawn cart.

The route was not particularly prepared for a trip of several hours, as ours was. The view, on the other hand, was extremely beautiful and, personally, it was worth the effort. Apart from a small viewpoint and the Pozo de Noja, there were no other places to rest or sit.

This bike route does not connect any significant points in the region, so it is mainly used by cars and bicycles for excursions. Once they left the two small villages, there were no bars, shops or markets.
