A well-designed route can help reduce car use, support small businesses, and even create job opportunities. 🗣 What kind of ideas can you explore here? Do you think this route could help people drive less and bike more? Did you pass by cafés, shops, or local businesses? Could they benefit from more cyclists passing through? Can you imagine new job opportunities linked to this route, like bike repair stations, rental services, guided tours, workshops, or events? 💡 Think big or small, what would make this route a real asset for your community and for the planet? 👉 Let your imagination roll and tell us how this route could become a driver of change in your town or neighborhood!

We passed by some local cafés and shops in Liérganes. I think this kind of route could really support small businesses if more people started cycling here regularly. Maybe in the future, a small rental point or repair station would make it easier for more people to join.

The streets are very narrow so the traffic jum happens especially during the weekend.

There were a lot of cars parked in the city centre which was very ugly to see.

We could definitely reduce car use by promoting cycling.

the largest trade takes place in Lierganes, being a very well preserved village and tourist destination. You could sponsor more perhaps, and possibly add a bike tool shop or points to repair your bike

<p style=”caret-color: #000000; color: #000000;” data-pm-slice=”1 1 []”>cyclists bring business to local shops, cafes, and services as they stop to rest, eat, or explore villages. However, to encourage more riders to visit, villages need better facilities like bike racks and clean water fountains.</p>

I can imagine new job opportunities in bike repair shops, rental services, or organizing guided cycling tours and workshops. These services would not only strengthen the cycling community but also boost local tourism and support small businesses.
