<span style=”caret-color: #000000; color: #000000;”>Most of the route runs along regular roads, without any designated bike lanes. There is no physical or even visual separation between cars and cyclists. The lack of protection makes it unsafe, especially for beginners or more vulnerable users. </span><span style=”caret-color: #000000; color: #000000;”>We also faced a few logistical obstacles. At one point, we encountered a closed gate not marked on Google Maps, likely leading to private property, which forced us to re-route. There was very little shade and almost no water fountains available outside the villages, making the route physically demanding, particularly in hot weather. No night lighting was present along the path, only within towns, which makes it risky to cycle late in the day. The path also lacked safe bike crossings and had no resting spots like benches.</span>
